Ranahan's Raspberry Shrub is a modern mix of this historic tradition, crafted with Big Bear Botanic Acetum and served exclusively during the Calgary Stampede.
At the heart of the cocktail is Big Bear Botanic Acetum, our handcrafted pine-tip cocktail vinegar made from fresh green Rocky Mountain pine tips foraged by hand in the Canadian Rockies.
Unlike conventional vinegar, Botanic Acetum is designed specifically for cocktails and culinary applications. It offers gentle acidity layered with subtle notes of pine, citrus, alpine botanicals and wild forest aromatics.
The result is an ingredient that brings brightness, depth and a distinctive sense of place to every drink it touches.
